Kensington Cornerstone Restaurant

Hi everyone,

I recently received an email from the owner of this new restaurant, who says: "
To the best of my knowledge, we are the only entirely gluten-free restaurant in Toronto." I have no financial interest in this restaurant, and am just passing this along.

Owner Amy Dewsbury here, thanks for posting!

Molly B's supplies much of our breads, pie crusts and pancake mix, and I can tell you our chef makes some wonderful things. We've been amazed at the number of random passers-by looking for gluten-free food (and enjoy surprising them with our completely gluten-free menu) and are thrilled that several have already become repeat customers. All our customers clean their plates - the highest compliment we could hope for.

We hope you'll come check us out soon.

We just came back from our first visit to this restaurant (which we first heard about on this blog), and I can heartily recommend it. The service is friendly and efficient, and the food is delicious. Even though the place was full of friends and well-wishers, the owners still made time to come chat with us which I very much appreciated. And we took our kids so the speed of service was also much appreciated.

Thanks for your helpful site - found Kensington Cornerstone to be one of the better GF restaurants during our recent vacation!

My travelogue is posted here:

My wife and I ate brunch at the Cornerstone on October 9th. Food was great, we'll be back. My wife, who's not a celiac, enjoyed her Molly B pumperknickel, although she kindly let me have a taste.
